St. James Community Service Society is a service organization that helps disadvantaged residents of Vancouver's Downtown Eastside. They are funded primarily through donations, and provide housing, counseling and financial guardianship.
I designed the St. James site to fit into an existing outreach and marketing campaign. It was developed to focus on the care providers and staff. The site features several blogs as well as a news and events listing.
The St. James site is one of the first I designed and developed to be built in Drupal. I am particularly proud of the hanging quotes used on the interior layouts, a typographic touch that is sometimes hard to achieve on the web.
